Department of Transportation Supervisor Drug & Alcohol Training

Has everyone employed by your organization, who directly or indirectly supervises someone holding a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), received professional training regarding drug/alcohol issues? If not, Sheakley Health & Safety Services offers expert training regarding these compliance issues. The law requires that one hour of training regarding alcohol and one hour of training regarding other drugs be completed.

This training is:

  • Required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for anyone who supervises an employee that holds a CDL
  • Designed to inform the supervisors about the rules and regulations of 49 CFR, Part 40
  • Different than the Ohio BWC’s Drug-Free Safety program requirement

Each participant who completes this training will receive a certificate to keep on file for proof of attendance.
